There’s something I’ve observed.

It’s very common among people who weren’t born into plush circumstances.

It’s a pattern of thinking and behaving that looks like a syndrome. I’ve seen it so many times in so many people. Even in myself.

It’s so common, yet not so frequently talked about.

I wasn’t sure if it had a name. So I decided to give it one.

“Big Break Syndrome”

What is it?

Most people who come from humble beginnings will tell you they look forward to a better future. That they look forward to a “big break” in life.

Ah, you know that phrase.

The “big break.”

Many people look forward to that.

And

Nothing is wrong with that.

But

If you can’t enjoy each passing day because you’re waiting for your “big break” to happen, you’ve got

“Big Break Syndrome.”
